Here is a perfect hand carved bowl that makes a great place to put change or keys that holds them where you will remember where you put them! Completely carved by hand from a beautiful piece of spalted walnut, it's the perfect size to go on a dresser or an end table by your bed. Signed and dated. Measures 6.5"L X 3"W X 1"H

All my spoons and bowls are made by using traditional spoon and bowl making methods. Starting with fresh wood, I use nothing but ax, draw knife, straight knife and hook knife. Since no saws are used, the wood is cut with the fibers of the wood, making a nice, smooth knife cut surface. Because the spoons and bowls are never sanded, they all have small, unique imperfections that make each bowl different. A paste of beeswax, mineral oil and walnut oil is applied then each bowl is burnished with a deer antler to a hard smooth finish. Each of my bowls are one of a kind unique and are heirloom quality guaranteed to last a lifetime!

Bowl care:

Apply walnut oil to the bowl every few months to restore its original shine.
