Do you need something in your kitchen’s “toolbox” that flips, scrapes, mixes and sautés? Basically a multipurpose do everything spatula that every cook should have. These are very popular among my customers, and now I have this beautiful combination heartwood and sapwood walnut that is always in demand. With a nicely formed handle, stout body but thin edge, these are great for making gravy, flipping eggs, or stirring your favorite veggies.
Spatula lengths are 12”, the handles are approx. 1” thick and the blades are approx. 2” wide.
All my spoons are made by using traditional spoon making methods. Starting with fresh wood, I use nothing but ax, draw knife, straight knife and hook knife. Since no saws are used, the wood is cut with the fibers of the wood, making a much stronger earsspoon and gives a smooth knife surface. This also gives each handle a special unique shape that fits your hand perfectly. A paste of beeswax, mineral oil and walnut oil is applied then each spoon is burnished with a deer antler to a hard smooth finish. Each of my spoons are one of a kind unique and are heirloom quality guaranteed to last a lifetime!
DO NOT wash the spoon in the dishwasher. Hand washing only!
Apply mineral or walnut oil to the spoon every few months to restore its original shine.
